Sol Frontline Manufacturing [SFM]
Sol Frontline Manufacturing appear normal on the outside looking in. A military contractor with ties to both the UNAS and Martian Republic, and originally based on and around the dwarf, Ceres. Ceres's crust held vast quantities of material that allowed warships to survive void combat, and proved a valuable asset for SFM to purchase.
By the late 2240s, SFM owned all of Ceres, and had carpeted it in hundreds of kilometers-long factories for starship and weapons RnD. The space elevator that stretched from the capital ran 9 hours a day (a single day/night cycle of Ceres), and was commonly seen transporting everything from shipping crates to FTL drives to the awaiting *Ascendant Framework Yard*, where many ships were produced, tested, and sold.
Despite all this, SFM has a large and strong military, going so far as to engage in blockades if a side doesn't pay them what they are owed, leading to the nations of Sol being very wary and careful in their dealings with the group. They also contract their services out to whoever pays the most, whether it be cargo running or full-scale invasions. Concerns aside, noone can best their level of craftsmenship, and as such, they were offered to be sent in with the second wave.
As the gate energized, their vast manufactories and escorting warships slipped soundlessly onto the other side, destined to expand SFM's interests and pick up when Sol dies. Though the inital scouting will be done by smaller craft and skeleton crews, once the right area is found and colonized, the full brunt of her operations will be seen.
