Born on the north pole of Soell after the abandonment of the UN, Jane Fox grew up around ice harvesters and hydrogen converters, and got to see firsthand a wide spectrum of ship types as they refueled at her outpost. The ships that fascinated her the most were the Soell Federal Militia's, as they had the most interesting weapons and propulsion systems; unmatched by any civilian ship she had seen.
And so, aided by her existing knowledge of energy systems, she began studying and applied to become an engineer on the biggest ship she had seen: the Orion's Arm. After Soell's rediscovery by BA, and with her new nickname “IceZee” earned from her ancestry, she proudly joined the Orion's Arm as it journeyed out into the unknown as an energy and propulsion systems engineer.
She was lucky to find an escape pod when it was attacked by Hellspawn over a large desert planet.
