Mara Leclerc - Nightingale

Hailing from Earth, Mara was put into cryosleep in the early years of Humanity's ventures outside our system. An unknown number of years later, he found himself being awoken, the ship's computer informing him of his arrival in a habitable system. Over a period of many years, Mara would spearhead the construction of a small space station orbiting the most temperate planet in the system, as well as assisting others with repairs and maintenance on their own constructions.

A new chapter of his life would begin when his station was set upon by a small group of pirates, demanding materials and labor in order to repair their critically damaged ship. Finding his work to be adequate, the pirates elected to take Mara aboard, and so he set off for unknown destinations once again.
Day after day he would bide his time, doing menial tasks as needed, and occasionally needing to make repairs as the band of pirates got into conflict with various groups and individuals. This eventually lead to the moment he had been waiting for, a chance to escape. One uneventful-seeming day, the small group of outlaws had bit off more than than they could chew, leading to severe damage and crash landing upon a desert world. 

Mara barely survived the crash, and managed to escape with a small craft and some materials. During his struggle to survive on this desolate planet, Mara took upon the name of Nightingale, as a symbol of resilience that originates from his homeland. Ever since his encounter with those pirates all those years ago, Mara has always kept moving. Though recently he's settled in with the Soell Federal Military, slowly but surely working his way up the ranks.
