Backstory:

Growing up on a small, dusty colony near the outskirts of the industrial sectors, Jax’s childhood was marked by a fascination with machines and how things worked. He spent countless hours in his family’s workshop, learning the trade from his father, who was a skilled craftsman in building and repairing tools, though never quite the visionary Jax would become.

When he turned eighteen, Jax left home and entered the world of corporate engineering, landing an apprenticeship at a small but ambitious BA industrial firm. The work was grueling, and the firm was struggling to compete in an already oversaturated market. But Jax's passion, combined with his technical brilliance, set him apart from his peers. He quickly mastered complex structural design practices and developed an eye for futuristic, yet practical innovations. More than that, he understood the importance of the ground-level effort—he didn’t just sit behind a desk; Jax was on the shop floor, welding, assembling, testing, and perfecting designs with his own hands.

Over the next decade, Jax’s reputation grew. His leadership skills, mixed with his no-nonsense, results-oriented approach, made him a rising star within the company. His projects were both efficient and revolutionary, and it wasn't long before he was handpicked by Hestia Space Works, a burgeoning name in the space industry, for a high-profile role in their new frontier initiative. The company, recognizing his potential, sought him out to spearhead an ambitious expedition to a distant, untouched star system.

Jax, always hungry for new challenges, accepted the offer without hesitation. The opportunity to lead the next phase of humanity's expansion into the unknown was a dream come true. His mind buzzed with possibilities, from new space stations to mining operations, to setting up manufacturing plants on alien worlds. His vision was clear: to turn this new frontier into a bustling industrial hub, setting the stage for future generations to thrive in space.

But destiny had a different plan.

The mission, intended to reach the welcoming arms of Mars, took a disastrous turn when the ship veered off course. A series of unforeseen malfunctions, compounded by faulty navigation systems, led the vessel straight into the harsh, barren desert of Titan. There, the once-proud ship was lost, its systems failing one by one. The crew was caught off guard, and with the hull breached and the crew unable to escape in time, Jax found himself in a deadly predicament.

In the midst of chaos, Jax did what he knew best: survive. He donned his engineering mind to work quickly and efficiently, securing an escape pod with only the barest essentials: tools, a basic survival kit, and his indomitable will to survive. Alone, stranded, and surrounded by the hostile landscape of Titan, Jax was left with nothing but his skills, his ingenuity, and a burning determination to see his vision realized.

When Jax crash-landed on Titan, he expected rescue within days. He was a valued member of Hestia Space Works—a rising figure in interstellar development. But days stretched into weeks, and then months, with no word or support from Earth.

At first, He tried to rationalize it, thinking delays or bureaucracy might be holding them back. But as the silence continued, confusion gave way to a grim realization: he had been abandoned. Jax now heads “Hestia Space Works” in name only, for it has become something far greater than the corporate shell it once was. Titan itself has turned into a haven for those forgotten, a place where the abandoned can find purpose, and Jax’s new enterprise stands as a testament to his resilience. Though he no longer believes in the “family” he once thought he had, he has created a new one among those who followed his story, drawn by the message that no one is truly alone if they have the strength to keep moving forward.
