===== Sansha's Nation [SNT] =====

No one truly knows where Sansha's Nation hails from, though it is speculated that they are a branch faction of Space Pirates that broke off of the mainstream coalition and forged their own way of life through a brutal takedown of a sister-clan of pillagers and plunderers, using their advanced technologies to both separate and distinguish themselves as their own independent entity. 

Their headquarters was positioned just beyond the Sol star system, outside of Pluto's orbital path within an asteroid field. Once stagnated, the field became abruptly overwhelmed when outside forces caused a chain reaction, causing the entire province and domain of the sector to be destroyed in a turn of events that ended with the shadow of the Space Pirates there to be overwhelmed following a strategically executed coup, wherein the Interstellar Pirate Alliance (IPA) began taking the steps to become the enigma it is today.

The BA had become starkly aware of the IPA's presence, and were placed on high alert when fleets of the IPA were spotted roaming through the solar system, their goals unknown and unannounced. This provoked a temporary skirmish wherein much of the IPA were dispatched and separated, causing branches of the fleet to separate and inevitably become disconnected from one another. With time, each of these fleets would settle in undisclosed locations all across the solar system and Milky Way, with each of these inner factions becoming autonomous and lead by individuals who ultimately, fortunately, had the IPA's best interest at heart. 

Among them was Sansha himself, a combat veteran of the UN-Cascadia war who proved himself as a creative and tactical fleet commander before the eventual collapse of the now defunct UN military. Sansha took a leap of faith, gathered a close-knit crew of skilled engineers and combat professionals and opportunistically gathered the IPA's leaders, forming them under a single banner - Sansha's Nation.


> OPERATION CRIMSON ENTRY

Seven months after the formation of Sansha's Nation, they would seek to position their headquarters over twenty-three hundred kilometers from the nearest earthlike planet, positioning themselves strategically between the surrounding planetary orbital path for tactful military execution. During a forward excursion launched labeled 'Operation Crimson Entry', a sizable asteroid was located whereby a military outpost could be constructed called Fowler's Folly. The Nation would consign a small fleet of Pirahna light gunships to the asteroid, and begin setting up a perimeter so construction could begin.

During Wave One, the operation was going smoothly, with Hellspawn interceptors being dispatched fairly frequently by Nation militants. The offensive contingency were deceptively outmatched by swarm and flank maneuvers under Sansha's leadership. However, with the increasing threat of the Nation, the Hellspawn responded in kind with overwhelming numbers and opted for sending a large fleet of frigates to dispatch the now defenders holing up at the Folly. Eventually, despite adequate defenses, the Nation would ultimately suffer a defeat, and were forced to give up the asteroid. 

With a call for retreat, the remaining five of nine Pirahna would fall back and set a course to the Marilyna, the Nation's flagship. Along the way they would be chased and engaged by further Hellspawn interceptors and frigates, which were effectively fought off, with the oppressed pirates freeing themselves from the battle by separating and setting a rendezvous at the Angalor Military Outpost, a small but fortified defensive position about one-hundred and sixty kilometers from the Nation's BDR Facility on the earthlike planet. It is here where Sansha would regroup, reassess and declare an official war against the Hellspawn.
